Our NIXMUR21 "FFN" system offers an effective solution to these problems. The system is a false bottom unit for open filters in water treatment plants, capable of solving these problems, producing significant energy savings.

"FFN" is a system of false bottoms for the filtration of water, through activated carbon or sand, in drinking water treatment plants (DWTPs) and wastewater treatment plants.

The "FFN" system consists of a series of filter assemblies, where the clamping frames house filter plates with grids capable of separating the filter bed from the water.

The filtration units joined by means of a tongue and groove joint make up a filtering mosaic, configuring the false bottom and covering the base of the open filter.

The "FFN" system has a dual function: on the one hand, it is the physical support of the filtering material during the filtration process, allowing water to pass through, and on the other hand, during the filtering material washing phase, it allows for the homogeneous distribution of the air.
